Broadlands Badminton Club Code of Conduct
The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised below.
General Etiquette
Treat everyone fairly and equally regardless of their age, gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, background or circumstances.
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person within the badminton community and encourage others to do the same.
Challenge and/or report discriminatory behaviour as everyone has the right to be protected from abuse and discrimination.
Encourage all to have respect for one another.
Act as a role model at all times and display high standards of behaviour and appearance.
Promote the positive aspects of badminton (e.g. fair play).
Always act responsibly and set an example to others.

Complaints
If any member has cause for complaint against other persons during the club activities, including training and league matches then the matter should be taken to the club committee.
Disciplinary Procedures
Members who show disregard to the codes of conduct will be warned and if they continue with behaviour contrary to the codes they may be barred from taking part in club activities by agreement of the committee.
